Mountain biking is a sport of riding bicycles off-road, often over rough terrain, usually using specially designed mountain bikes.

The first-of-its-kind invitational progression session aims to pave the path for women in freeride mountain biking.

Set against a backdrop of steep, unforgiving terrain, the top female foreriders in the world, alongside a selection of industry mentors, diggers, and other professional athletes will work together to carve their route in the red dirt of southern Utah. The goal: create a top-to-bottom line that illustrates their skill, style, and power as well as pushes the women’s field further than ever before.

Get ready to watch the women’s freeriding scene jump to heights never seen before.

Climbing is the activity of using one's hands, feet, or any other part of the body to ascend a steep topographical object.

Sports Climbing consists of three disciplines. There is the ‘Speed’ category that pits two climbers side by side in a timed race to the top of the wall, the polar opposite of the methodical approach needed to succeed in ‘Lead’ climbing. Perfectly placed between those two skill sets is ‘Bouldering’. Men and Women use a maximum of 10 movements to power over a vast array of shaped and sized boulders bolted onto steep vertical walls often topped off with an imposing overhang. They have no safety support other than the vice-like grip that their fingertips might allow them. This is a sport that truly lives up to the mantra of ‘living on the edge’.

The first-ever Women’s Battle in California s is here. This year, Play! Media has invited 16 of the world’s top female flat-ground skaters to battle it out in a bracket-style competition format for the top spot in the finals. You don’t want to miss this!

Santa Fe Bike Park in Santiago, Chile, will host the Pump track world championship on November 19, with the winners getting the official titles of Pump Track World Champions.

The pump track promises to make for an intense race day with a slightly shorter total length than previous tracks in the series, along with rollers designed for a clean battle between a mountain bike and BMX Racing specialists.

Louise G. Dolphin, a decorated slopestyle competitor, and Olympian, braved the backcountry to film for CRITICAL TIME in 2022, balancing a wild year that included competing at the Olympics in China as well as snowmobiling deep into British Columbia to stack big-mountain footage for the movie of the season.

The Play!Media Dual Ascent is a new team climbing event, that took place on October 26-29. Sixteen of the very best competition and multi-pitch/rock climbers are invited to compete in teams of two across three days at the first-ever head-to-head multi-pitch climbing competition on artificial routes.
